A chance encounter at UVA has evolved into love and a wedding day. Billy and Sarah will be married next weekend at the Inn at Old Virginia in Staunton. Jason and I are looking forward to capturing this laid back couple’s happy and momentus occasion that will include friends, family, hiking mountain trails and relaxed atmosphere.
This is Mandy and Scott. Adorable, funny and very smart. Scott is a mathematician; he works in a field that my fragile little mind cannot comprehend. My temples start throbbing whenever the need for simple arithmetic arises, which is weird that I am actually a pretty decent poker player. I’ll talk about that some other time, though. Mandy and Scott are getting married next year at Veritas Vineyard, and we are so happy to be a part of it.
If you asked me who would I want on my side in a bar fight, I would say Kendall Herring. Once at an MMA fight, he knocked his opponent out in 8 seconds. Aside from being a badass fighter and coach (he used to be one of my Muay Thai instructors), he’s also pretty darn nifty on a bike. I spent last Sunday afternoon in Gordonsville with him and “his boys” practicing for a 4th of July gig at Brawley Fights 4 in Staunton.
Looks like squooshy fun! Jason, Wil Walker and Jen Fariello had a little photo booth action time at Greg and Ginger’s wedding this past Saturday at Edge Hill.
Mac and Ashley: Husband and Wife Superstars.
This couple can do it all. Sing, dance, play the guitar, play the keytar, and create coloring books to name a few. They are also impeccable public speakers and all around sweet people. Most importantly, they are newlyweds! Mac and Ashley tied the knot on Saturday, May 23rd at the UVA Chapel. After portraits and a trolley ride, the excitement began as the reception commenced at UVA’s Alumni Hall. Their friends and musical entertainment of the evening, Wedding Bolt, rocked with fantastic covers like The Darkness’s ‘I Believe in a Thing Called Love’ and ‘Hey Yall’ by Outkast. My favorite moment of the evening was when Ashley and the girls cleared the dance floor and surprised everyone with a performance of Napoleon Dynamite’s signature dance. Way cool and ten times hotter than the movie.
I loved all the subtle hints of turquoise.
More turquoise splashes!
